This hand carved wooden container is from a private collector, and was purchased in Zimbabwe. It stands up nicely, and can be carried by the handle, which threads its way through the holes on the lid, preventing the lid from being lost. The lid, shown sitting slightly ajar in the photos, does sit flat on the mouth. It is 21 1/2 inches tall, and and 5 inches wide at the lid.
