This beautiful and very unusual Passport Mask from the Kuba (Bakuba, Bushongo) people is 20 inches tall  and 16 inches wide, when laid out as at left. This passport mask was made to be folded and carried by a traveler to identify their tribe, gaining them safe passage. Would hang nicely on a wall, as it would not protrude.
