African art and masks of the Dogon. This Dogon fertility statue is hand carved of wood by the Dogon people of Mali and Burkina Faso. She is identifiable as a fertility figure by her enlarged breasts and pregnant belly. She stands up nicely at a height of 26 inches, and it 6 inches wide at the shoulders.
