This is the special Dan singer mask, worn by traveling singers/ entertainers. Its round eyes give the performer a wider field of vision for dancing, the large open mouth helps project his voice, and it is adorned with small bells which make a festive tinkling sound while moving. It is 14 inches tall, and 11 inches wide, and hand made of wood, fabric, brass bells, and 3 small gourds which add to its beauty.
