African Statues - Bakota Reliquary Guardian 2

Reliquary statues are used by several African peoples to guard the remains of the dead from mischievous spirits, as well as grave robbers. This particular reliquary guardian is approximately 80 years old. It is 26 inches tall including the base, and is made of hand hammered bronze.
