African art and masks of the Fante. This Fante Asafo flag measures 60 inches long by 31 inches wide. This flag predates Ghanian independence and is reported to be between 80 and 100 years old. Several repairs have been made to this flag. Unrepaired areas on the flag are revealed by the burlap background.
